Metalsmith Magazine

Metalsmith magazine is the official publication of the Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG). You might say our relationship was soldered when Metalsmith looked to ted studios to be the stewards of their brand. They commissioned us to redesign their publication and corresponding identity. The results? The new Metalsmith was awarded Best Redesign from the Society of Publication Designers. We continued producing five issues a year for the next ten years.

ABA Journal Media Kit

ABA Journal is the leading legal publication for practicing attorneys and the official publication of the American Bar Association. They partnered with us to design their communications (trade advertising) in Advertising Age, Adweek, and SRDS. We also helped them talk about themselves with a media kit and subsequent editorial promotional materials including direct mail, demographic studies, online promotions and trade booth design. In fact, we won an Award of Excellence from the Business Marketing Association for Media Kit and Direct Mail Campaign 2005.

ProFive Media Kit

We designed the media kit for five national trade associations that banded together to showcase their unique audiences as an attractive, unduplicated media buy of highly educated, affluent and wealthy professionals. They include: the American Bar Association, the National Association of Realtors, American Dental Association, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Physicians Association.

Grey Flannel/Advertising and POS

FFI is a producer and distributor of prestige fragrances and cosmetics including Geoffrey Beene, which includes the brands Grey Flannel and Eau de Grey Flannel. They contracted us to design a new, more updated look for Grey Flannel advertising and in-store POS materials.

University of California Recreation/Online Store We designed a web template for three University of California Recreation Departments (UCLA, Berkeley and UC Davis ) to faciliate their member's online registration needs. We worked in tandem with a content management developer to implement the user interface and cashiering system. VIEW SITE

Activtrax/Business to Business website

ActivTrax is a web-based application delivering personalized workouts to fitness center members at their club location and online. The product is a blend of technology and personal training experience that creates customized workouts to keep club members motivated and on the path to results. We designed and programmed a B2B website for Activtrax targeting fitness clubs, YMCAs, hospitals and the military individually in an effort to grow their business beyond gyms. VIEW SITE

Hickey Freeman/in-store video

We have designed national print and trade advertising for the Hickey-Freeman, Jack Nicklaus apparel, Pierre Cardin, Bobby Jones, Austin Reed, Perry Ellis and other Hartmarx brands. Other brand work has included in-store videos, promotional calendar planning, retail sales brochures, posters, label art, cinema advertising, and web design.VIEW THE VIDEO
